St Joseph's School Clermont exists to provide high quality education for children from Prep to Year Six. Our curriculum is student centered with the aim of stimulating and challenging individuals on their learning journey. Our school promotes a safe and collaborative learning culture, which encourages good working habits in every child. To ensure students develop holistically, we provide extracurricular opportunities through community service, sporting pursuits and cultural activities.
We have a proud and rich history within the Clermont community. St Joseph's was founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1900. St Joseph's maintains a strong and distinct Catholic culture, which is nurtured and enriched by its dedicated staff, families and the parish community. The school still has firm ties with the Josephite sisters, with Sister Helen Archer a current member of our staff.
An essential aspect to student learning and development is the relationship between school and home. With this in mind we welcome parental support and participation in the school community. There will be many opportunities for you to be be involved with your child's education and I implore you to embrace this important responsibility as parent and carer of our future.
I encourage you to explore our website or visit us in person to gain further insight into what makes St Joseph’s Clermont such a wonderful opportunity for your child and family.
